Job DescriptionTHIS ROLE
As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of monthly and other financial reporting requirements, including month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and supporting the year-end audit as the primary point of contact. The role also involves contributing to various reporting, project, and ad hoc finance activities. We are seeking a proactive, hands-on professional with a positive, can-do attitude who can help drive continuous improvement within the finance function and adapt to a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly management reports and financial information.
- Lead the year-end audit process and prepare annual financial statements.
- Complete regulatory, VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns.
- Support finance integration activities for new acquisitions and business growth initiatives.
- Drive process improvements, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
- Experience working in a global finance environment, with exposure to UK companies considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, best practices, and external audit processes.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders and work effectively both independently and within a team.
