We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Financial Accounting team in Group Business Services.
This hybrid position is permanent and based in Espoo, Finland.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP
You will join our Financial Accounting team in our Group Business Services. In this role your main responsibilities include managing general ledger, fixed asset and VAT accounting.
- Manage general ledger, fixed asset and VAT reporting in nominated legal entities
- Group month-end reporting of nominated legal entities according to defined guidelines
- Preparing annual reporting
- You support legal entity controllers in accounting related matters and partner with stakeholders such as Business area Finance, Group Finance and other teams in Group Business Services as well as auditors

You are proactive and maintain positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn new. You also have development mindset and continuously improve ways of working. You have ability to see the big picture without losing details. As a person you have excellent team working skills and precise working style. Working under pressure with flexibility is familiar to you.
Experience:
- Business/Accounting degree e.g. Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent
- More than three years of experience as chief accountant or a similar role
- Good understanding of accounting processes and tools
- Strong analytical skills
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- IFRS accounting knowledge is a plus
- Fluency in English
