Job Description

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is actively looking for a well-organized and self-motivated Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst to join our Team.

Job Purpose

Reporting to finance to execute the monthly incentive calculation and payment cycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, validate and verify all data for Incentive Compensation (IC) and spiff reporting, to ensure accurate calculation and submission of commission payments
  • Responsible for month-end close procedures, meeting close deadlines
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all submissions provided to payroll
  • Implement and maintain meticulous audit processes to ensure data integrity
  • Work cross-functionally to validate records, provide valuable reports and insight
  • Run and build monthly, quarterly, and annual reports out of SFDC, OBI, and Callidus Commissions, validating those reports and distributing them to their respective business partners; maintain the global Inner Circle rankings
  • Assist in the creation/distribution and tracking of individual sales plan documents
  • Provide functional support of the Callidus Commissions application to field sales: act as first-responder to inquiries which may include questions related to specific calculations or quota crediting, etc.
  • Act as an SME for IC applications and reporting functionality, providing and/or acquiring data needed
  • Trouble-shoot, providing periodic analysis and ad hoc assignments for business partners and management
  • Conduct trend analysis or modeling of alternative IC plan design or quota levels
  • Collaborate with the IC programmer to execute the new-hire and plan-change uploads for sales commission plan creation and distribution
  • Support the deployment of IC system improvements, as well as develop and deliver related sales training
  • Support financial reporting and analytics


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance or Accounting, with 2-4 years of proven experience
  • Excellent analytical abilities and sophisticated Excel skills
  • Proven track record of strong planning skills, documentation and audit abilities, and experience in managing several tasks simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written), and possess a high level of initiative, influence, and motivation
  • Be thorough, show effective prioritization, and have the ability to work cross-functionally


Preferred:

  • Experience with Callidus Commissions, Oracle, OBI
  • Familiarity with databases, and/or data flow

Salary range: $71,000 to $100,000 plus bonus and benefits.
