Seeking a driven, open-minded, and technically strong individual who is passionate about accounting operations and driving process improvements. You are a critical thinker, highly organized, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You have strong knowledge of accounting standards and have the ability to manage and work with various cross-functional teams. You will support the monthly close process and assist with financial reporting requirements.

What You Get To Do Every Day

  • Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
  • Review general ledger coding to ensure expenses are accurately recorded by account and department in the correct accounting period
  • Assist with the preparation of documents for quarterly and annual financial statement audits, periodic internal audits, and SOX/404 audits
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls as it pertains to operating expenses
  • Work effectively with cross functional business partners, including Finance, HR, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Engineering, Product, IT and other teams
  • Prepare and review selected flux analysis for balance sheets and income statement accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of results in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in the implementation of process improvements, new accounting standards, and accounting for non-standard transactions
  • Conduct accounting research and summarize results accurately and independently
  • Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business expands
  • Assist in various ongoing and ad-hoc projects or initiatives

What You Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years relevant accounting experience preferably in a high growth environment
  • Strong communication, collaborative skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, efficient, and self-motivated with the ability to recommend and implement process improvements
  • Well organized and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with NetSuite, Concur, and/or Blackline is a plus
  • Knowledge of SOX 404 and implementation of internal controls
  • Certified Public Accountant (active status) preferred
  • Public company experience highly preferred
