Syndigo is seeking a highly motivated, talented Senior Accountant to join our energetic and dynamic accounting team. The successful candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced work environment.
HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY
- Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP and maintain complete & accurate documentation.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review general ledger details in order to independently determine variances.
- Complete assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statement close activities accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies and processes.
- Provide direct supervision and feedback to the staff accountant’s tasks.
- Prepare weekly cash forecast for the Chief Financial Officer.
- Participate in year-end audit to compile and prepare supporting schedules and financial reports, and work through questions directly with auditors.
- Complete a variety of ad hoc reports and analytics for the Controller, Accounting Directors, and Accounting Managers Seek to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to impact and support company strategy.
- Perform analysis on trends vs. prior periods and vs. budget.

- Possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate and articulate key findings to various levels of management including Company leadership.
- High attention to detail with the ability to analyze information.
- Self-motivated, able to handle multiple priorities.
- Desire to learn, grow, and bring a fresh mindset to existing processes.
- Detailed knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Additional Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong excel skills.
- CPA license (or CPA track)
- Exposure to NetSuite
