Syndigo is seeking a highly motivated, talented Senior Accountant to join our energetic and dynamic accounting team. The successful candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced work environment.


HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY

  • Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP and maintain complete & accurate documentation.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review general ledger details in order to independently determine variances.
  • Complete assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statement close activities accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies and processes.
  • Provide direct supervision and feedback to the staff accountant’s tasks.
  • Prepare weekly cash forecast for the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Participate in year-end audit to compile and prepare supporting schedules and financial reports, and work through questions directly with auditors.
  • Complete a variety of ad hoc reports and analytics for the Controller, Accounting Directors, and Accounting Managers Seek to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with management to impact and support company strategy.
  • Perform analysis on trends vs. prior periods and vs. budget.

  • Effectively collaborates with team members and accurately prioritizes tasks across different functions.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate and articulate key findings to various levels of management including Company leadership.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to analyze information.
  • Self-motivated, able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and bring a fresh mindset to existing processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Additional Skills/Qualifications: 
    • 3+ years of accounting experience preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong excel skills.
    • CPA license (or CPA track)
    • Exposure to NetSuite
