Role Overview
This Traineeship is a 6-month contract based within Tanagra's Finance team. During the training period, the candidate will support key reporting, data consolidation, and month-end closing activities in a fast-paced retail environment, gaining hands-on exposure to core finance operations while receiving a monthly salary and benefits. The objective is not only to provide valuable experience, but also to identify and develop long-term talent that could potentially become part of the team after the trainee program.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and data validation.
· Assist in preparing financial reports, presentations, and consolidated data trackers.
· Support financial monitoring and reporting activities using Excel and PowerPoint.
· Help organize and maintain accurate financial data with strong attention to detail.
· Assist the team with day-to-day finance coordination and ad-hoc reporting tasks.
· Contribute to ongoing finance initiatives and process improvements where needed.
What you'll need to succeed
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to handle data accurately.
· Well-organized with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
· Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn within a team environment.
