The Opportunity

As the Corporate Services Finance Team Leader, you will lead a team of financial analysts in delivering high-quality planning, reporting, and analysis to support the corporate services function within the company. This includes oversight of both OM&A expenses and project financials. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial insights that drive informed decision-making and strategic planning for corporate services.

What You'll Do:

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, and meeting regularly with team members
  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset, encouraging innovation in financial processes and tools.

Financial Planning

  • Oversee the financial planning process for OMA and project-related expenses, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Develop models to support scenario analysis, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial forecasts with operational goals and identify risks and opportunities.

Financial Analysis

  • Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports and dashboards to senior management and business partners.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing explanations for variances against budget and forecast.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and corporate policies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Provide financial guidance to non-financial stakeholders, translating financial information into actionable insights.

Process Improvement & Best Practices

  • Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, reporting tools, and systems to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead adherence to financial policies and internal controls within the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA designation preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for various audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
