LearnUpon is looking for a Finance Systems Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our Dublin office.

Our Finance team is vital to our Company and is responsible for keeping the financial operations of the company running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for a self motivated individual to join a rapidly growing software company and make significant contributions. This role will be responsible for helping to streamline, simplify and improve the end-to-end processes, driving a continuous improvement culture, with systems & tools to drive productivity.
What will I be doing?- Conduct data analysis and process mapping to identify obstacles, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- You will be the owner of our core finance application - Netsuite - and be responsible for administration of this system and supporting end users.
- Identify, create, and participate in the implementation of business process improvements, enabling tools, and systems that deliver tangible value to the Finance Organisation.
- Execute testing and initial review on enhancements before progressing to the end-user testing stage.
- Assist where necessary, with the implementation of changes to the PRD environment.
- Analyze and develop business process diagrams and models to support process design and redesign initiatives.
- Partner with other cross-functional teams to identify and address improvement opportunities.
- Document requirements to enable the creation of IT functional specifications where appropriate.
- Identify and implement automation across core business processes.
- Liaise with the relevant external Support Providers, to
- resolve queries raised by the team relating to system functionality,
- and to deliver enhancements to the Finance system.
- 3+ years experience working in finance/accounting environment.
- Experience with Netsuite administration.
- Experience in system / process improvement delivery - with a Finance focus
- Experience in dealing with third party support providers.
- A high degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness, with an ability to discover and proactively remedy discrepancies.
- High energy, proactive and independent individual who can serve as a partner and consultant.
- Results oriented, with proven ability to prioritize and deliver quality work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Not required but considered a big plus
- Exposure to SaaS environment.
- Exposure to many finance functions such as Accounts Receivables.
- Netsuite and/or Salesforce experience is advantageous but not essential.
