Te Kāinga Rua | The Opportunity  

We’re looking for a Finance Systems Product Lead to play a key role in shaping the future of our finance platforms and capabilities. Sitting within a high-performing team and reporting to the Product Manager, you’ll contribute to a forward-looking roadmap that leverages innovation across AI, automation and analytics to drive smarter, more efficient outcomes.

In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of finance, technology and the wider business—partnering closely with stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, secure and reliable solutions. From contributing to end-to-end solution design to facilitating workshops and validating business needs, you’ll help ensure our finance systems continue to evolve in line with organisational priorities.

You’ll also play a critical role in ensuring data governance and integration requirements are embedded in solutions, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and overall system performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with business insight—bringing people together, driving innovation, and contributing to meaningful improvements across enterprise finance systems.

Ko wai koe | About you

You’re a commercially minded and technically capable professional who enjoys bringing finance and technology together to solve complex business challenges. With a strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, you’re comfortable working across systems, data, and stakeholders to deliver practical, well-designed solutions.

You’ll bring:

• Experience working with enterprise (Tier 1) finance systems, with an understanding of system architecture, integrations and APIs
• The ability to translate business needs into functional solutions, contributing to end-to-end design and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence facilitating workshops and collaborating across Finance, Technology and wider business teams
• A continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, controls and system performance
• Good attention to detail, with a focus on governance, documentation and ensuring solutions meet audit and compliance requirements
• A proactive approach to staying current with emerging technologies and industry practices, with an interest in innovation across automation, analytics or AI

You’re someone who enjoys working collaboratively, values clear communication, and takes pride in delivering outcomes that make a real impact. You’re equally comfortable getting into the detail while keeping sight of the bigger picture.

A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Technology or a related field is preferred, along with experience working in complex or enterprise environments. Oracle Cloud experience or certifications would be an advantage.
