The Finance Systems Manager is responsible for driving projects and optimising the finance business intelligence reporting and dashboards. You will have the opportunity to lay the roadmap, execute & drive multiple initiatives simultaneously, including report development, modifications and enhancements, system performance improvements, and you will also drive advancements in user utilisation. You will partner with various finance functions, acting as their single point of contact, to ensure the successful advancement of finance data & analytics within Cytiva.
What you’ll do
- Prioritise and manage projects globally, working in partnership with the finance teams to understand their business requirements, existing challenges, as well as opportunities, and liaising with the development teams to achieve operational excellence in financial analytics.
- Utilise DBS tools (including leading kaizens, PSP initiatives and listening to VOC) to identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate their relative benefits, and develop and deploy action plans to drive continuous improvement in relation to those opportunities
- Drive the optimisation of QlikSense with the key goal of eliminating waste and duplication from the financial processes
- Document clear requirements, prepare functional design documents, monitor project progress, and test solutions prior to release to users for further user testing.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and robustly assess all requests for additional or non-standard developments, and generally act as a consultant to finance to improve the usage of existing solutions.
Who you are
- BS/MS Degree in Business, Finance, IT, Project or similar discipline
- Strong working knowledge of QlikSense
- Demonstrated success in building and developing collaborative global and cross-functional teams and relationships
- Demonstrated facilitation and negotiation skills, exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to effectively evaluate information/data to make decisions, anticipate obstacles, create actionable strategies and operational plans, and communicate clearly and succinctly.
