About the Role
Turium AI is looking for a finance professional who sits comfortably between accounting, systems, projects, and client engagement.
This is not a traditional accounting role focused purely on month-end or compliance. We’re looking for someone with a finance foundation who enjoys improving systems, working with stakeholders, solving operational problems, and helping organisations modernise the way finance functions operate.
You’ll work directly with enterprise and government clients across ERP, finance transformation, reporting, process optimisation, and system implementation initiatives — partnering closely with consulting, product, and engineering teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work directly with enterprise and government clients to improve finance processes, reporting, and operational workflows
- Support ERP implementation, migration, optimisation, and finance transformation projects
- Assist with financial system configuration, mapping, data validation, testing, and rollout activities
- Analyse and improve budgeting, forecasting, procurement, invoice management, and reporting processes
- Support chart of accounts, entities, ledgers, cost centres, and finance structure design activities
- Build and maintain financial reporting frameworks, dashboards, reconciliations, and KPI reporting
- Work across finance and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Support process improvement, automation, and AI-driven workflow initiatives
- Collaborate with consulting, engineering, and product teams across ERP and integration projects
- Assist clients through UAT, transition activities, onboarding, and change processes
- Provide analytical support across finance, projects, portfolios, and operational reporting
What We’re Looking For
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently studying towards completion.
- 0-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, business analysis, ERP systems, consulting, or related fields.
- Foundational understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and finance operations.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, TechnologyOne, Oracle, Workday, Infor, FinanceOne, or similar through university studies, internships, or professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Comfortable learning new systems, technologies, and business processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
- Interest in finance systems, digital transformation, process improvement, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar through university projects, internships, or work experience.
- Understanding of business processes relating to finance, accounting, procurement, or project delivery.
- Experience using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
- Interest in business process improvement, automation, data analytics, or AI-enabled technologies.
- Exposure to data analysis, reporting, dashboards, or performance metrics through academic projects, internships, or employment.
- Understanding of how different business systems and data sources interact to support reporting and decision-making.
- Experience working collaboratively in team-based environments, including university group projects, internships, or professional settings.
- Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in finance systems, digital transformation, and enterprise technology.
Why This Role is Different
- Blend finance, systems, consulting, and transformation work
- Move beyond traditional accounting into ERP, automation, and AI-enabled finance
- Work directly with enterprise and government clients
- Gain exposure to large-scale finance and operational transformation projects
- High ownership and visibility across delivery teams
- Work closely with consulting, engineering, and product specialists
