About the job
As our Finance Systems Business Analyst, you will be the functional expert for CCH Tagetik within Corporate Finance. You will understand how Finance processes should work and ensure that Tagetik supports them effectively. Working between Finance, IT and the platform, you will translate business needs into practical system solutions, support and train users, and help improve the platform over time.
CCH Tagetik is Alfa Laval’s strategic Corporate Performance Management platform for Corporate Finance. It supports how financial information is planned, reported, controlled and governed across the Group.
This is part of Alfa Laval’s broader Financial Transformation Journey, where we are building a modern and efficient environment for our financial processes. Your scope spans the full breadth of the Corporate Finance capability area at a group wide level, including how financial information is planned, reported, controlled and governed, as well as how Treasury and Tax are supported in our systems. You play a central role in making sure the platform truly serves these needs.
Key responsibilities
- Act as system owner and subject matter expert for our Corporate Performance Management platform (CCH Tagetik)
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, understanding their needs and advising on how this can and should work in the platform, including which data flows and setups are appropriate
- Own the functional Finance perspective in discussions with the Product Owner, Solution Architect, IT teams and implementation partners.
- Provide Finance expertise to the Solution Architect on business rules, data requirements and how processes should work, while ensuring that proposed solutions fit the overall architecture.
- Manage master data, system controls, and user access
- Act as the first point of contact for users, providing training, guidance and ongoing support
- Stay close to the platform’s roadmap and new features, keeping ahead of changes and guiding others through them
- Perform advanced support, maintenance and administration within your area of expertise
- Contribute to project activities and smaller deliveries, depending on experience, in collaboration with the Product Owner and Solution Architect
- Analyze, configure, test and deploy changes to optimize existing solutions, meeting agreed time, cost and quality requirements
Who are you
You are curious, structured and comfortable working between Finance and IT. You build trust by listening carefully to stakeholders, asking the right questions and making complex topics easier to understand. You enjoy turning business needs into practical solutions and are confident challenging unclear requirements in a constructive way. You are collaborative rather than directive, and you bring people together through open dialogue, clear explanations and sound judgement. You are also patient and service-minded when supporting users, while being proactive enough to identify improvements and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
What you know
To be successful in this role, you combine a strong understanding of Corporate Finance with an interest in business systems and digital transformation. We believe our ideal candidate has:
- Solid understanding of Corporate Finance processes, rules and terminology at a group-wide level.
- Knowledge of Treasury and Tax processes and how they may be supported through finance systems.
- Experience translating business needs and financial logic into functional system requirements.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-expert technical and IT teams, and translate technical concepts into clear business language.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with CCH Tagetik is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important qualities are your Finance knowledge, motivation and ability to build deep platform expertise quickly.
- Experience from an international environment or a larger global company is beneficial, as is familiarity with complex, group-wide processes.
- Relevant university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
