We are seeking to recruit a Finance Support Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide effective financial and payroll support by ensuring accurate computation and prompt remittance of statutory obligations, timely collection of receivables, and strict adherence to approved budgets, policies, and service level agreements (SLAs).
REQUIREMENTS:
Payroll &
Statutory Compliance
- Compute
and process salaries and wages accurately and on time.
- Ensure
prompt and accurate remittance of statutory deductions including PAYE Tax
and NHF.
- Maintain
full compliance with Nigerian tax and payroll regulations.
Accounts
Receivable & Invoicing
- Create,
issue, and process invoices for CHI and TGI entities.
- Ensure
timely reimbursement of monthly invoice amounts in line with agreed SLAs
(CHI Group).
- Maintain
accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records and documentation.
- Follow up
on outstanding receivables to ensure prompt payment.
Accounts &
Vendor Management
- Perform
periodic account reconciliations (CHI).
- Process
vendor payments strictly in line with company policies, procedures, and
SLAs.
- Handle
internal and external account-related inquiries professionally and
efficiently.
Budget &
Financial Control
- Monitor
approved expenses to ensure alignment with the overall budget.
- Support
cost control initiatives and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
General
Responsibilities
- Support
audits by providing required financial documentation and schedules.
- Assist
with financial reporting and ad-hoc finance-related tasks as assigned.
- Carry out
other official duties assigned by the Line Director or Finance Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum
of a First Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional
certifications (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or related) and/or higher degrees will be
an added advantage.
- Minimum
of 3 years’ relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or
payroll support roles
- Accounting
principles and budgeting
- IFRS

tax laws and regulations
