You’ll oversee daily financial operations, champion process improvements, and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) compliance. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll resolve challenges, enhance efficiency, and empower your team to excel—all while driving impactful financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead with Purpose: Supervise and inspire the Finance Service Delivery team, ensuring precision and efficiency across accounts payable, accounts receivable, master data management (MDM), intercompany transactions, credit controlling and other critical accounting activities.
- Innovate & Optimize: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement smart solutions, and elevate the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
- Collaborate & Resolve: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot financial discrepancies and deliver timely, effective resolutions.
- Set the Standard: Develop and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance, streamline workflows, and uphold operational excellence.
- Mentor & Grow: Train and guide junior finance staff, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and adherence to best practices.
- Track Success: Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to keep the team on track and exceeding expectations.
- Drive Regional Impact: Oversee credit and insurance applications for the APAC region, manage monthly turnover reporting to third-party insurers (e.g., HWL 3rd party), and monitor overdue accounts and credit limit overruns.
- Leverage Insights: Maintain and enhance the SSC Finance Power BI productivity dashboard to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decisions.
Skills and Competencies
- Proven expertise in finance service delivery or a similar leadership role within a financial operations environment.
- A deep understanding of accounting principles and financial processes and motivated for spotting inefficiencies and solving them.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate, guide, and empower a team to achieve exceptional results.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a customer-focused and results-driven approach.
- The ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, international setting.
Preferred Educational Background / Work Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated experience in finance and accounting, with a track record of leadership success.
- Previous work in an international environment or shared service center (SSC) setup is a distinct advantage.
Language Skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a valuable asset in our diverse, global environment.
Computer Literacy
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel to handle complex data analysis.
- Experience with Power BI is highly desirable for driving productivity insights.
- Familiarity with D365 Finance System is a bonus that will set you apart.
