The Finance Supervisor is responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance activities, including financial close, budgeting, forecasting, product costing, inventory controls, and audit management. This role will serve as a key business partner to site leadership, providing financial insights, driving operational performance, ensuring effective inventory management, and supporting strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage the full set of accounts and handle month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support management decisions
- Drive end-to-end product costing, variance analysis and manage inventory revaluation.
- Monitor inventory controls and works closely with Supply Chain Function to optimize inventory management.
- Lead/Support a small accounting team on daily routine tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Serve as a key finance business partner to Beijing Manufacturing Director and leadership team, supporting strategic initiatives, operational performance, and profitability improvement.
- Act as a trusted communication channel between the Beijing Site and Global Operations HQ/Finance, fostering alignment across stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making, and ensuring the timely execution of strategic and operational initiatives through effective communication and coordination.
- Support Singapore costing activities as needed to provide operational flexibility and business continuity.
- Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings, if any.
- Ensure compliance with US-GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and maintain a robust internal control environment.
- Support finance processes and governance for a new manufacturing plant setup.
- Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years of hands-on in costing and manufacturing finance experience in a dynamic MNC manufacturing environment.
- Good working knowledge of International and Local Accounting Standards (IFRS & CAS) and Local Tax Regulations.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with both overseas headquarters and local teams.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Power Point is preferred.
- Working experience in Oracle, HFM and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Experience in factory start-up or finance transformation is an advantage.
