Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Finance Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on centralized reporting, data analytics, and the development of financial templates. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Centralized Reporting: Develop and maintain centralized financial reporting systems to ensure consistent and accurate reporting across all departments. Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to senior management.
- Data Documentation: Create and manage comprehensive documentation for financial data, including data sources, methodologies, and definitions. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and reviews.
- Template Building: Design and implement financial templates to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Continuously improve and update templates to reflect changing business needs and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other finance team members and departments to gather necessary data and insights for reporting purposes. Provide support and training to users of financial models and templates.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all financial reporting and documentation comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies. Stay up-to-date with changes in financial reporting requirements and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial reporting, data documentation, and financial modeling.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and financial reporting systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience in a financial services industry
