Job DescriptionWise Platform powers leading global platforms delivering payroll, expense management, and invoice payments to millions of people and businesses worldwide. Our APIs enable amazing payment experiences that make cross-border payments faster, cheaper, and more transparent.
As we scale, we're building out the FP&A function for Wise Platform—and we need someone to own our financial narrative.
We're looking for a Finance Senior Manager to join our fast-growing team in London. You'll own financial reporting and forecasting for Wise Platform, working at the intersection of Analytics, Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance teams.
This is a new role, created because business demand has grown and requires dedicated focus. You'll shape the narrative we tell about Wise Platform's financial performance and work with teams across the business to improve forecast accuracy. Your work will inform leadership decisions at the highest level.
This is a high-impact role where you'll:
- Own the financial story for one of Wise's fastest-growing business areas
- Work directly with senior leadership across the organisation
- Build forecasting frameworks and models from the ground up
- Have real ownership and autonomy from day one
What you'll do
Own financial reporting and narrative:
- Lead the Monthly Financial Review meeting for Wise Platform, presenting performance against forecast to leadership across the business
- Create clear insights into performance and commercial strategy of Wise Platform
- Translate complex financial data into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders
Drive forecasting excellence:
- Own the methodology for financial forecasting, coordinating with different teams to gather inputs across all parts of the P&L
- Build and manage integrated financial models from scratch
- Identify and resolve gaps within the forecast to improve accuracy
Enable strategic decision-making:
- Work with Revenue Operations to build and track payback models across different regions and teams
- Contribute to the long-range financial plan of Wise Platform—support the 5-year forecast process, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Drive Finance Transformation & Strategic Projects—contribute to cross-functional initiatives including process redesign and implementation of new planning tools
What we're looking for
Experience & background:
- 7+ years of experience in strategic FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field—ideally within B2B fintech or high-growth tech environments (we're open to other backgrounds if you can demonstrate the technical skill set for this role)
- Strong track record building complex forecasting models and presenting financial narratives to senior stakeholders
- Deep expertise in financial modelling—you're comfortable building and managing integrated models from scratch
Skills & approach:
- B2B commercial finance experience, ideally within fintech or financial services
- Communication excellence—you can express complex concepts simply, whether in a presentation, a model, or a conversation
- Stakeholder management—you work effectively with Senior Finance Directors and VPs, bringing clarity, confidence, and credibility
- Prioritisation instincts—you know the difference between what's important and what's noise, and you act accordingly
- Influence and collaboration—you bring people on the journey and help teams understand Finance needs and perspectives
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments and getting into the details—whether that's working with data or understanding how products work
Bonus points for:
- Experience with SQL, Python, and visualisation dashboards
- Experience leveraging AI tools for financial analysis
- Background in high-growth tech or financial services environments
Why join Wise Platform?
