As a pivotal member of the Rest of APAC Heart Recovery Commercial Finance team, this role partners closely with regional and country business leaders to scale the ROA business with disciplined financial planning, performance management, and investment decision support. Reporting to the APAC Finance Director, the Senior Finance Analyst supports end-to-end planning and forecasting across ROA markets, delivers high-quality management reporting, identifies risks and opportunities, and coordinates with country finance teams, APAC/Global stakeholders, and the Shared Service Center to ensure accurate and timely financial closing.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with ROA commercial leaders, country teams, Marketing, Sales, and other functions to support business decision-making through financial insights, scenario analyses, and clear recommendations.
  • Support and coordinate annual budget, forecast, and long-range planning processes across ROA markets, ensuring assumptions, resource plans, and investment priorities are aligned with business strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver value-added management reporting for ROA and APAC leadership, including sales, gross profit, OPEX, headcount, monthly P&L performance, key drivers, and actionable commentary.
  • Support identification and tracking of risks and opportunities across ROA markets; proactively recommend mitigation actions, performance improvement initiatives, and investment trade-offs.
  • Support business cases, ROI analysis, pricing and commercial strategy discussions, and new market or therapy expansion initiatives as the Heart Recovery business scales across ROA.
  • Gather and synthesize information to respond quickly and accurately to inquiries and ad-hoc requests from APAC regional finance, Global/HQ stakeholders, and country leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with country finance teams, the Shared Service Center, and relevant stakeholders to execute accurate and timely month-end and quarter-end close, ensuring appropriate documentation and compliance with company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement of planning, reporting, and forecasting processes across ROA through standardization, automation, and improved visibility to enhance quality, speed, and transparency.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with countries, regional, and global finance stakeholders; communicate financial guidance clearly and support governance and decision forums as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
  • Business-level proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across ROA country teams and regional/global stakeholders; additional APAC language capability is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business controlling, or finance business partnering, ideally in healthcare, medical devices, or a multinational matrix environment.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and driver-based analysis, with the ability to translate financial data into clear executive-level business insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP and reporting tools; experience with SAP, Power BI, Anaplan, or other planning/reporting platforms is preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple markets, stakeholders, and deadlines in a matrix organization; hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with country teams, Shared Service Centers, and regional/global finance teams.
  • Demonstrated learning agility, ownership mindset, and ability to operate in a scaling business environment with evolving priorities and increasing complexity.
