Job DescriptionAs a financial technology service/company moving billions of GBP of customer money in over 70 countries, Wise must have bulletproof financials. We need timely, accurate and scalable financial data to be compliant with regulations and make accurate business decisions to support our growth and financial objectives.
Due to continued and rapid growth we’re on the hunt for an experienced Finance professional to join our FP&A team in Shoreditch, London. You’ll be part of the team that helps pilot the rocket ship.
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Financial Resources Forecasting & Analysis team, part of Wise’s FP&A team. The team's primary responsibilities involve supporting the finance function’s forecast and collaborating with stakeholders on both entity-specific and group forecasts. These efforts aim to deliver consolidated forecasts that help the business achieve its mission, with a strong focus on the group’s capital and liquidity resources.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating efforts across multiple teams, including FP&A, Strategic Finance, Banking, Treasury, Risk, and Financial Controllers to produce rolling group and entity forecasts, stress testing forecasts for ICARA/ILAAP as well as the group viability statement forecasts.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the FP&A team you will help ensure the finance-owned regulatory processes and risks are understood by the candidate.
Assist the team by ensuring that models (ICARA/ICAAP), stress tests and other regulatory requirements are performed as required by regulators e.g. FCA (UK), APRA (Australia) etc
This also requires developing an understanding of our business drivers and the overall forecasting process.
Ensure that capital and liquidity regulatory headroom is monitored as part of the ICARA, ILAAP and viability statement forecasting process.
Our finance team is spread across the globe, but mainly in London and Tallinn, so do expect a lot of video-calls. Your work will be instrumental in us delivering an ICARA and Wind Down Plan, as well as improving our knowledge, control and reporting of capital requirements, which is becoming a fundamental skill as we grow our product suite and geographical coverage.
A bit about you:
Prior experience in a regulated environment is crucial to this role, ideally Including experience in Banking, Asset Management, Fintech with basic familiarity of prudential regulations (e.g. CRR, IFPR)). Experience in a multinational environment is a plus!
Experience of building and/or running stress tests to support ICARA/ICAAP process or scenario analysis.
A self starter with the ability to analyse data, take judgements and suggest structural and product strategies to improve capital and liquidity efficiency
Worked in a fast moving, multinational financial services environment
Expertise in building financial models and be comfortable with P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements
Experience and knowledge of Macroeconomic factors and their impacts on financials e.g. interest rates.

Experience with producing forecasts supporting any of the following:
ICAAP/ICARA
Stress Testing or scenario analysis
Wind Down Planning
It would be ideal, but not essential if you are/have:
Anaplan experience
Planful experience
Experience with IFPR/Stress Scenarios
Accountancy Qualification
£75,000-£80,000
