Job Summary
As a Finance Operations Specialist, Marketing Collections in the Finance Operations team, you will manage all aspects of collections for marketing events and advertising invoices. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate supplier balances and ensuring data integrity. In this role, you will communicate directly with suppliers, collaborate with team members, and contribute to process improvements. Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the Co-Op Ledger daily and create invoices for marketing events and advertising
- Update the ledger with new invoices and payments posted by the Cash Management team
- Communicate directly with suppliers regarding outstanding invoices
- Research and ensure payments are applied correctly
- Review unidentified commissions for the current month related to suppliers under collection
- Reconcile outstanding invoices monthly for each travel type, ensuring consistency between back-office systems and ledger data
- Collaborate with team members to improve the collection process and achieve team goals
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support business needs
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commission collections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, data manipulation, and data mining
- Exceptional communication and mathematical skills
- High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the travel industry
- Experience with TRAMS or Travcom back-office systems
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Manila, with work hours scheduled during the night shift.
