The Finance & Operations Analyst at Truckstop will be responsible for providing financial insights, developing KPIs, analyzing financial and operational data, and supporting operational decision-making. This role will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A and collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and track performance against key metrics.

The Finance & Operations Analyst will be wearing many hats- as an analyst, strategist, and demand planner. The position will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A and a dotted line to the VP, Strategic Operations working cross functionally across the company and with external vendors and business partners. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency and tracking the day-to-day performance (financial and operational) against key performance metrics of strategic initiatives. 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Provide quarterly volume forecasts to managed services partner 
  • Track reliability of forecast against actual volumes and create plans for continuous improvement 
  • Develop KPIs and review dashboards to assess counterparty performance and operating effectiveness 
  • Support the firm’s financial reporting and compliance requirements 
  • Analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement 
  • Preparing comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. 
  • Acting as a key resource in the FP&A team to respond to ad-hoc requests from executive leadership team and global functional groups. 
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making and strategic planning. 
  • Work with cross functional stakeholders to understand operational and financial implications to projects and new initiatives. 

Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management, or economics
  • 4+ years of experience in Private Equity or Credit, Investment Banking, Consulting, Data Analytics
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and develop financial models
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • You maintain the highest standards of accuracy and precision and are highly organized
  • You are articulate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You take pride in your attention to detail and can be flexible between agility and completeness.

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for a yearly bonus. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$80,000$85,000 USD
