Overview: Our client is a well-

products via a network of brokers in Barbados. Due to growth, they are seeking
a bright, organized individual to join the team.
Duties
and Responsibilities:
- Receive
and answer telephone, face-to-face and electronic queries from members concerning
insurance products and services and charges.
- Receive
applications for insurance and other services and ensure that said applications
are accurately completed.
- Investigate
and solve routine problems of members on matters regarding their insurance
accounts.
- Identify
insurance needs of members and cross sell products and services.
- Maintain
confidentiality of member information.
- Contact
members who have complaints or queries about insurance products/services and
ensure that the matter is resolved or members are contacted within 24 hours.
- Prepare
correspondence about to members concerning their insurance accounts.
- Keep
accurate records for all daily financial transactions.
- Record
accounts receivable.
- Maintain
the accuracy of the data contained within internal systems.
- Prepare
monthly insurance reports and assist with annual report.
- Track
insurance deposits, payments and prepare monthly and /or bi-monthly
remittances.
- Ensure
the effective execution of financial policies.
- Liaise
with relevant insurance companies to ensure the sharing of relevant Information
and correspondence as well as the remitting of payments and refunds.
Requirements
- Qualified
to BSc. Level in Accounting/Finance/Business related discipline.
- Good
verbal/written communication skills.
- Competency
with Insurance broker software (EPICAssure) a distinct advantage.
- Proven
data-entry skills.
- Previous
experience working in the insurance industry preferred.
Skills Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Competency with EPICAssure insurance broker software
- Previous experience working in the insurance industry
