Summary Objective

The Finance Manager, Strategic Finance Initiatives plays a critical role in driving financial and operational visibility across Stellar Energy Americas. This position leads the development of forecasting models, operational analytics, executive reporting, and business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Business Development.


This role serves as a cross-functional partner responsible for translating complex operational and financial data into actionable insights that improve planning accuracy, production visibility, operational execution, and business performance. The position operates in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.

 

Essential Functions

  • Lead development and maintenance of financial and operational forecasting models, including revenue, gross margin, capacity, backlog, and production planning forecasts.
  • Develop executive-level dashboards, KPI reporting, and business intelligence tools that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Production Scheduling, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Development teams to align operational execution with financial objectives.
  • Support long-range planning initiatives through scenario modeling, pipeline analysis, and capacity planning exercises.
  • Translate operational data and manufacturing performance into financial implications and actionable business insights.
  • Drive reporting standardization, process automation, and data governance initiatives across Finance and Operations.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, automated reporting solutions, and data visualization tools to improve reporting accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support executive leadership, board-level reporting, and strategic presentations through data-driven analysis and storytelling.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, operational risks, forecasting variances, and business opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reporting efficiency, analytics maturity, and operational visibility.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve business processes, reporting infrastructure, and decision-support capabilities.
  • Manage multiple priorities and ad hoc strategic requests in a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Support implementation and enhancement of systems, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities across the organization.

Work Location

This position will work out of our Main Office in Jacksonville, FL. 

 

Work Environment
 
Most work is performed in an office environment. Regular interaction with manufacturing operations, production teams, and executive leadership is required. Occasional visits to fabrication facilities and customer sites may be necessary.


Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
 
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

 

Travel
 
Anticipated up to 15% travel for this position. Some occasional local day travel may also be necessary. Occasional travel to customer job sites and conferences may be required.

 

Required Education and Experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, business analytics, operational finance, or related analytical roles required.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, construction, engineering, or project-based business environments preferred.
  • Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and operational analytics required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI required.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data visualization tools, and reporting automation required.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, NetSuite, Oracle Fusion or similar platforms preferred. 
  • Experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query, Python, or ETL/data transformation tools preferred. 
  • Experience supporting executive leadership reporting and strategic planning initiatives preferred. 
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations, production scheduling, or supply chain analytics preferred. 

 

Work Authorization
