As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the
company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic
financial guidance to senior management. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance,
optimizing processes, and supporting business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to achieve organizational
goals.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends, providing insights and
recommendations to management.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and
presentations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and
financial stability.
- Optimize cash management strategies, including investment decisions and financing
activities
- Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to safeguard company
assets.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to senior management and key
stakeholders.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic
initiatives
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional
development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the
finance department
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA,
CFA) is required. A Master's degree will be an added advantage
- 5 years of progressive experience in financial management
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.
- Experienced in accounting software’s, QuickBooks, tally.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Skills Required
