Finance Manager

This team collaborates closely with multiple members of Footprint’s management and has clear visibility into the company’s highest priority initiatives. This role will equip you with financial partnership experience in both field operations and corporate functions and will springboard you onto a path towards finance leadership.

What will you do?

LEADERSHIP

DATA VISUALIZATION

• Condense and synthesize vast financial data into meaningful and actionable message using dashboards to identify opportunities for management to improve performance
• Communicate performance measurements via “story telling” visualizations
• Partner with business stakeholders to prepare and maintain reports/dashboards that will be used to derive insights into past/present business performance
• Develop complex models and scenarios to forecast performance and identify issues and opportunities

FORECASTING AND REPORTING

• Lead the development of long-term and short-term forecasts and budgets, as well as complex models and scenarios.
• Identify business issues and opportunities by analyzing financial and non-financial data.
• Condense and synthesize sometimes conflicting financial data into a meaningful and actionable message.
• Analyze, interpret, and evaluate data by challenging inputs and performing reasonability assessments.
• Prepare the monthly financial reporting package. Utilize dashboards to identify opportunities for management to improve performance and achieve financial goals.
• Identify and evaluate risk/variances associated with business performance and drive resolution of gaps by making informed recommendations to leadership.
• Design business specific dashboards to synthesize vast financial data into meaningful and actionable messages and identify opportunities to improve performance.

BUSINESS PARTNERING

• Seek and build alliances within the finance organization and across the business to ensure that finance is included as a vital strategic partner in the decision-making processes across functions.
• Provide input as a key business partner for strategic business agenda development.
• Partner with business stakeholders to prepare and maintain report/dashboards to identify opportunities for management to improve performance and achieve goals.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

• Implement solutions to improve existing processes.
• Challenge conventional approaches to existing processes and tools

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or MBA, or CPA with 2+ years of experience
• General understanding of accounting, financial and operational principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
• Fluent in Spanish and English
