Are you a hands‑on finance leader who thrives on accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement? We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead core financial accounting and reporting activities while mentoring a high‑performing team in a complex, fast‑moving environment.
This is a pivotal role partnering closely with senior finance leaders and the wider business, ensuring robust financial controls, high‑quality reporting, and compliance with Australian and international standards.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead the financial accounting function (team of 4 direct reports) for all Ricoh Australia business lines. You will take ownership of month‑end, statutory reporting, taxation and compliance, while driving process improvements and strengthening financial governance.
You will also lead and develop a small accounting team, balancing operational delivery with coaching, capability uplift and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
- Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations, resolving aged items promptly.
- Oversee statutory reporting, including Tier 2 financial statements.
- Manage tax compliance activities including BAS, FBT and corporate tax support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies and governance frameworks.
- Partner with stakeholders locally and offshore to meet reporting and compliance requirements.
- Preparation of financial reporting and other information for Ricoh Asia or Japan.

About You
You are a confident, detail‑oriented finance professional who enjoys being close to the numbers while also leading people and influencing outcomes.
You will have:
- CA or CPA qualification (CAANZ or CPA Australia).
- At least 5 years’ experience in a commercial accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Australian tax requirements (GST, FBT, income tax).
- Proven experience leading and developing a small accounting team.
- Hands‑on month‑end and statutory reporting expertise.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
