Responsibilities

  • Lead Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits, ensuring timely completion, compliance, and effective coordination with auditors , Tax consultants and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax governance, including tax filings, VAT, withholding tax, and compliance reporting.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of accounting entries, financial schedules, tax reconciliations, supporting documentation, and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Manage budgeting, cost tracking, accruals, forecasts, and financial reports; review revenue recognition, invoicing, Accounts receivable, and unbilled balances.
  • Strengthen internal controls, identify financial/tax risks, and implement corrective or process improvement actions.
  • Function as the primary finance point of contact for internal stakeholders for P&L management and educating them on company financial policies and procedures
  • Manage escalations from clients and vendors regarding invoicing, payments, and other financial matters, where operational processing is supported by shared service teams.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, including work allocation, coaching, performance reviews, and training.
  • Support HR‑related decisions such as hiring, development, and employee discussions.
  • Perform other finance and compliance duties as required.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience, with strong expertise in accounting, audit, tax, and compliance.
  • Solid understanding of General Ledger, financial reporting, and technical accounting.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with stakeholders and auditors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications i.e Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP Accounting ERP
