Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of our month-end processes, management accounts, and tax compliance. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing insightful reports, and ensuring robust controls are in place across our international entities.You’ll receive full training on our cloud-based accounting system, Sage Intacct, and will take ownership of several key reconciliations and reporting processes to ensure the integrity of our P&L and Balance Sheet.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the delivery of monthly management accounts for international entities, ensuring all workpapers are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Prepare and post month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed assets, and other ad hoc entries).
• Assist in preparing P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports, providing meaningful commentary and variance analysis against budget.
• Prepare information for corporate tax and VAT/GST submissions.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations (including accruals, prepayments, and accrued income).
• Oversee bank reconciliations for all accounts, including foreign currency accounts, ensuring accurate cash reporting.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany balances and foreign exchange movements.
• Document key financial controls and processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Develop financial and management reports in Sage Intact to enhance month-end reporting.
• Oversee the purchase order approval process for international markets, ensuring alignment with budget.
• Support the Financial Controller during the annual audit process

Skills we'd love you to have

You’ll be an experienced, organised, and dependable accountant with a proactive approach and a strong eye for detail. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in delivering high-quality work under pressure.

You’ll also bring:

• CIMA or ACCA qualification (essential)
• Excellent Excel skills and strong financial modelling abilities
• Great communication and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
• Experience with Sage Intacct or Tipalti (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
