Responsibilities:

As a Finance Manager within our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include:

• Day-to-Day Financial Operations: Efficiently monitor and manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, by delegating tasks to team members and ensuring smooth workflow to support the team's operations.
• Month-End Processes: Actively participate in the month-end and audit processes to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and audited accounts.
• Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Compile and submit timely and accurate tax and other regulatory submissions as required.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and working capital requirements effectively to optimize financial resources.
• Budgeting and Performance Monitoring: Actively contribute in the preparation of the group budget and monitor performance against budget on an ongoing basis.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and other consultants on financial matters.
• Internal Controls: Ensure effective internal controls are in place and suggest improvements as necessary to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is essential for a Finance Team Lead. We are looking for candidates who have developed and managed budgets, forecasted financial performance, and identified areas for cost optimization.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to various stakeholders.
• Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Experience

We encourage applications from candidates who meet one of the following criteria:

• Qualified accountants with 2 - 5 years’ post-qualification experience; OR
• Individuals who have substantial, hands-on experience managing financial operations, accounts, or finance teams, even if not formally qualified.
