We are seeking a proactive and highly qualified Finance Manager to join our team at SAPI. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in finance, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to support business growth. Your leadership will be key in optimising financial performance, managing cash flow, and contributing to the long-term success of the company.
About the Role
- Maintain Financial Records: Oversee the day-to-day management of financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely posting in the general ledger.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Financial Statements: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with internal and statutory requirements.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including preparing and filing VAT, corporate tax, and other necessary filings.
- Audit Support: Assist in preparing for annual audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Financial Reporting: Produce accurate financial reports to monitor business performance and support decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Certification (good to have): ACA / CMA / ACCA / VACPA
- Experience: Mid to senior-level experience in managing financial operations, preferably in fintech or a related industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Xero is a must.
- Transparent salary structure and progression, with annual consideration for pay rise.
- Hybrid - 1 day per week in our Hanoi office - we trust you, and we're sure you'll do great work from home and our core working are 2pm to 8pm Vietnam Time (8am to 3pm UK time)
