Treasury Analyst

Position Overview

We are creating a world-class team of media professionals and seeking for a young spirited, proactive and talented individual with entrepreneurial drive. 

The position reports to the Regional Treasury Manager and will take part in treasury reporting and analysis

Objectives and Responsibilities

· Preparing weekly and monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting for assigned entities by using our Treasury Management System (TMS)

· Liaising with various internal departments outside treasury to secure cash flow forecast consistency and accuracy. Including Collection, AP, Tax, HR and finance.

· Open, close and maintain bank accounts according to Treasury policies and strategy.

· To perform through market analysis like, USD reserves, Bank ratings and charges, Central bank policies, local challenges, etc. of new regions before starting operations or incorporating the business.

· Deal with local regulators, bank and legal consultants to comply with regulatory processes and look for solutions to arising challenges in cross border payments.

· Review of daily cash position and forecasted position on TMS to decide on investments and funding needs.

· Analyze and approve weekly payments run. Secure intercompany transactions and local fx transactions when required.

· Manage short-term and long-term investment products based on liquidity. Negotiate with banks to identify new investment products and competitive conditions.

· Identifying and negotiating with banks to reduce bank charges wherever possible. Validate actual charges versus agreed conditions and versus company forecast.

· Interact with Global Treasury to report cash flow figures and provide ad-hoc information about liquidity and payments.

· Participate in automatization of bank statements, Reports, client virtual accounts, SAP testing, H2H testing, etc.

· Keep an updated understanding of banking and financial products landscape and evaluate opportunities for new implementation and processes improvements with the aim to enhance liquidity, risk management, and increase savings in operation.

· To assist with the preparation of long-term cash flow forecast reports when required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

· Advanced English

· Very good skills with Microsoft Excel.

· Ability to work and communicate within regional and global teams.

· Experience with Banking platforms is desirable.

· Experience with Kyriba or other TMS is desirable.
