Position Summary  

The Finance Manager will be the local finance lead for Speria China, ensuring reliable financial operations, statutory compliance, and effective coordination between the local management team and global finance functions. 

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of our China entity. The role reports directly to the Managing Director of Speria China and is responsible for accounting, controlling, tax, treasury, statutory reporting, internal controls, and related local finance matters. 

The role will work closely with the Managing Director of Speria China, Group Finance, external auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers, banks, and other local service providers. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, review of financial results, and timely submission of required reporting packages. 
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting for local management and group stakeholders, including analysis of key variances and business performance drivers. 
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes for the China entity, including input from local management, review of assumptions, and preparation of finance analysis. 
  • Manage local cash flow planning, bank coordination, and treasury-related activities in line with group policies and local business needs. 
  • Monitor and manage working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory-related financial processes. 
  • Ensure compliance with local tax requirements, including preparation, review, and timely submission of tax filings in cooperation with external advisors where applicable. 
  • Coordinate statutory reporting, audit preparation, and local filing requirements in accordance with Thai regulations and group timelines. 
  • Maintain and improve local internal controls, ensuring appropriate segregation of duties, approval processes, documentation, and compliance with group control requirements. 
  • Coordinate payroll, salary-related processes, and selected HR administration matters in cooperation with local management and external service providers. 
  • Support local legal and corporate compliance matters, including coordination with external advisors and ensuring required filings and documentation are completed on time. 
  • Coordinate local insurance administration, including policy renewals, claims support, and alignment with group insurance requirements. 
  • Coordinate local IT administration and vendor management, including support for finance systems, service providers, contracts, and local operational requirements. 

  

Process Improvement & Controls  

Act as a proactive finance business partner to the Managing Director by providing financial insight, highlighting risks and opportunities, and supporting local decision-making. 

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, reporting quality, and operational efficiency. 
  • Maintain clear documentation of accounting procedures, internal controls, key finance routines, and local compliance processes. 
  • Participate in finance transformation and ERP optimization initiatives, including process design, data quality improvements, and system-related finance testing where relevant. 

Skills & Requirements  

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  
  • Experience working in a multinational or multi-entity organization, with the ability to collaborate effectively across countries and functions. 
  • Experience with Accounts Payable/Receivable and general accounting functions.  
  • Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.  
  • Experience working with external payroll and tax service providers. 
  • Good understanding of Thai accounting, tax, statutory reporting, and payroll requirements. 
  • Experience coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers, banks, and other professional service providers. 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.  
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency.  
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central or similar platforms. 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.  

Good English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with regional and global stakeholders.
