Granite Asia Insights
What We Do
Granite Asia is a Singapore-headquartered multi-asset investment platform managing approximately $10B across venture capital, growth equity, and private credit. Licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the firm has backed more than 500 companies across Asia, producing 127 unicorns and 65 IPOs, including Alibaba, Grab, Xpeng, and Airbnb. Led by Senior Managing Partners Jenny Lee and Jixun Foo, both Forbes Midas List investors, Granite Asia partners with founders building in artificial intelligence, enterprise software, fintech, and deep technology across Southeast Asia, China, India, and Japan. The platform spans three strategies. Venture and growth equity backs companies from early stage through pre-IPO. Private credit operates through Libra Hybrid Capital, launched in 2024 with a first close exceeding $350M and anchor commitments from Temasek, Khazanah Nasional, and the Indonesia Investment Authority. In 2025 the firm partnered with DBS to launch an AI-focused pre-IPO fund. Granite Asia was established in March 2024 through the separation of GGV Capital's Asia and US businesses, carrying forward more than two decades of investing across the region under the Granite Global Ventures and GGV Capital names.
Why Work With Us
Granite Asia operates across venture, growth equity, and private credit from a single Singapore platform, so the work spans early-stage diligence to structured credit. Teams are small and non-hierarchical. Analysts sit directly with partners who have backed Alibaba, Grab, and Xiaomi, and take real ownership of coverage from the first year.
