About the role .
Join McCain as Finance Manager, supporting both Supply Chain and Procurement across ANZ. Reporting to the ANZ Finance Director and partnering with functional leaders, you will play a pivotal role in forecasting, measuring, analysing, and reporting financial performance. You will drive value by managing procurement cost inputs, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting long-term cost initiatives. Additionally, you will provide crucial financial insight to the supply chain, focusing on storage and freight costs, risk management, and inventory provision compliance. Be a key contributor to strategic decision-making and help align financial and business objectives for optimal outcomes.
What you'll be doing.
- Deliver accurate reporting and forecasting for procurement and supply chain financials, including profit and loss, working capital, cash flow, and capital expenditure.
- Oversee procurement inputs in product costings, BOMs, and price variance analyses.
- Standardize and enhance reporting formats to provide clear insights for strategic decision-making.
- Lead improvement initiatives and support risk mitigation within procurement and supply chain functions.
- Audit and validate Sustainable Cost Advantage (SCA) savings; coordinate reporting, analysis, and forecasts for SCA programs.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Procurement, and external stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement, accountability, and compliance with McCain policies, managing cross-functional outcomes.
- Provide timely financial analysis and support for supply planning, annual planning, and forecasting processes.
- Identify and proactively manage risks and opportunities for procurement and supply chain.
- Foster development and engagement within the team, supporting continuous learning and compliance with company policies and training requirements.
- Model McCain's values, leading by example and championing change.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Must be CA or CPA qualified, demonstrating a strong technical grounding in accounting standards and financial best practices.
- Proven ability to build and maintain credible, trust-based relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration to drive tangible business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in partnering with diverse stakeholder groups, delivering clear, actionable commercial insights that directly support business planning and performance.
- Strong track record of effectively influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions to deliver business results and lead change initiatives.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in strategy or finance roles within FMCG or manufacturing environments, providing context and depth in supporting operational and commercial decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in commercial partnering within supply chain and procurement functions, contributing to initiatives that optimally balance cost, risk, and value delivery.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proven capability to translate complex data into actionable insights and user-friendly reports tailored for decision-makers.
- Advanced skills in financial systems and reporting tools, particularly experience with major enterprise applications such as SAP (S4Hana), enhancing efficiency and data reliability.
