About the Role:
We’re looking for a strategic and analytical Finance Manager, Revenue & Commercial Analysis to join our finance team as a key individual contributor. In this role, you’ll leverage your experience working with a high-growth SaaS commercial organization to drive the insights and financial guidance that fuel 3E’s profitable growth. The preferred location for this role is near our Bethesda, MD office, but we are also open to candidates located within the Eastern time zone.
What You'll Do
- ACV and Revenue Reporting:
- Track and report on Annual Contract Value (ACV) and key revenue metrics.
- Develop and maintain detailed revenue models to guide business decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for senior management.
- Analyze revenue trends and deliver insights that drive growth across individual products and business lines.
- Strategic Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Provide insights into trends across products and business lines, including Net Revenue Retention (NRR), cross-sell conversions, and new sales.
- Contribute to strategic, cross-functional projects by building cost/benefit models and offering financial insights and recommendations.
- Support investment allocation through financial guidance and business case development for product initiatives.
- Commission Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of commission plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate calculation and payment of commissions.
- Work with the commercial team to manage exceptions and resolve commission-related issues.
- Pricing Leadership:
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to enhance pricing frameworks that align customer value with company costs.
- Develop pricing tools for clarity and consistency.
- Design commercial models for new strategic partnerships.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in financial analysis and revenue management with a strong understanding of SaaS business models
- Proven success in collaborating with commercial teams to drive results.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying complex financial data effectively.
- Availability to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $105,000-$140,000 per year. The final offer will depend on several factors, including the successful candidate’s skills, depth of work experience, location, and relevant licenses/ qualifications. Each offer is determined based on individual strengths and relevant business considerations.
In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.
