We’re looking for a qualified Finance Manager to lead and develop our Revenue Assurance team due to an internal promotion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in the commercial side of a business as you will be a business partner to our business development teams and become the finance revenue SME.
We’re booking for someone who takes their own initiative and has curiosity for information. You’ll quickly understand the business, ask questions, challenge the status quo, make changes/ improvements and make the department your own.
You’ll report directly to the Financial Controller and co-ordinate/ manage the revenue team to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting. It is key you have good experience managing a team and have driven and developed employees as this role will manage a team of 3 recently appointed accountants. This role will also be heavily involved and often lead finance and wider business projects.
Having a new billing system which is now embedded you’ll make changes and improvements bringing your own experience and ideas. This role would suit someone who has a good commercial understanding either from an accounting or audit background.
What you will do

Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly accounting close

Review and manage team workload, including developing team

Monthly variance analysis and investigation

Support the implementation and management of company Sales Incentive Plan Scheme

Manage key stakeholder reporting and expectations

Support year end audit testing
What experience you need

Professional Accounting Qualifications

Experience working with revenue accounting or a good understanding

Track record of developing and maintaining highly efficient teams

Strong stakeholder relationship management skills

Have worked in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
