Position Summary
We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager (Pharma & Consumer Health) to join our team. In this role, you will lead key financial processes, including accounting, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure objectives and timelines are met. You will support manufacturing accounting, manage budgets, and coordinate inventory activities. This position also involves working closely with leadership on financial analysis and compliance activities.

Location: Kansas City, MO
The Role
Lead monthly accounting, forecasting, and reporting processes to meet Corporate, Business Unit, and Site objectives and timelines
Support the Manufacturing Accounting process, including managing work orders, routers, and costing deliverables
Lead the annual Pharma and Consumer Health Site and Functional Budget process, including developing and analyzing budget targets, creating templates, maintaining roll-up files, and preparing deliverables for Site Management and Business Unit Leadership Team
Coordinate inventory activities with management and Inventory Control, including analysis, reporting, annual wall-to-wall inventory count, cycle counts, and adjustments to ensure accuracy
Maintain a collaborative relationship with inventory control and supply chain teams
Assist the General Manager and Director of Finance with metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial and operational analysis related to fixed asset purchases, base cost management, working capital, headcount control, and operational performance
Ensure SOX-related activities are conducted as documented, coordinate changes as required, and work with corporate teams and auditors on reviews and testing

The Candidate
Minimum RequirementsUndergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance from an accredited institution
Minimum seven years of experience in finance and accounting
Minimum three years of experience supporting manufacturing and distribution entities
Minimum three years of experience in cost accounting
Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
Experience with ERP systems JD Edward (JDE)
Experience with planning and consolidation systems, OneStream
Master of Business Administration or Certified Public Accountant
