Finance Manager, Marketing & Commercial (Hybrid)

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Provide end to end support; covering front end business support, financial planning and analysis, as well as back end controllership and accounting for area(s) of direct responsibility
• Manages accruals and amortizations
• Provides thought partnership to marketing and commercial VPs
• Drive the global consolidation of key performance indicators (KPI’s) such as Headcount, CAPEX, and OPEX
• Play a major role in the Marketing and Commercial finance’s quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and periodic variance reporting cycles.
• Serve as liaison between the Corporate operations finance leadership team and the business teams across regions on a wide range of topics.
• Actively participate in the preparation of financial reporting package focused on performance related to the Global Commercial Organization to the appropriate executive management audiences.
• Provide deep insight into spend variances with a view to helping management understand their impact on overall performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in operations finance in such areas as overall KPI content, as well as help improve forecast accuracy levels, prepare benefits cases, automate processes and streamline methods etc.
• Perform any other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years in Finance and or Accounting preferred
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP is preferred; exposure to Cognos TM1 is a plus
• Successful track record of effectively interfacing with non finance personnel to identify, support, and execute on value-added ideas to improve profitability
• Attention to details, strong analytical background as it pertains to understanding and explaining manufacturing variances
• Ability to influence cross functionally and solve complex problems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; Must be comfortable working with and analyzing large data files
• Macro, code writing, Tableau and other skills which enable automation are a plus

Experience/Education:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience, with 1-3 years of Management experience.

The estimated base salary range for the Finance Manager, Marketing & Commercial (Hybrid) role based in the United States of America is: $115,800 - $173,800. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
