The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager Lead to oversee our India finance operations, acting as a strategic partner to the leadership team with a CFO mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee and manage all financial operations for the India GCC/Development Centre, acting as a strategic partner with a CFO mindset to manage India Centre Finance Strategy and Operations.

  • India Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations, including GST, TDS, corporate tax, and transfer pricing, while optimizing tax strategies.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business objectives, ensuring alignment with global financial goals.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RnDm HR, IT, Vendors and operations, to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

  • Reporting & Governance: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP/IFRS and global accounting standards.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls and audit readiness.

  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and banking relationships to support India operations.

  • Process Optimization: Drive automation and process improvements in financial operations to enhance efficiency and scalability.

About You 

Required Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA in Finance or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience:

    • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing India finance operations for a GCC or similar setup.

    • Proven expertise in Indian taxation (GST, TDS, corporate tax, transfer pricing) and regulatory compliance.

    • Experience acting as a strategic finance leader, with a CFO-level mindset, driving business decisions.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP/IFRS and global accounting standards.

    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Preferred Certifications: CA (preferred), CPA, CFA, or CMA is a plus.
