Finance Manager (Creative Hub) (26270101)
The School of Creative Arts (SCA), comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music, and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1, 2022, SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond, while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies. SCA is inviting applications for the position of Finance Manager for the Jockey Club Creative Hub and other education projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and monitoring processes for the creative hub and other education projects including monitor project expenditure and financial performance against approved budgets and funding allocations, ensuring effective use of resources and compliance with funding requirements;
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, reimbursement, and payment processes in accordance with relevant guidelines;
- Oversee manpower planning and human resources administration for funded projects, including recruitment coordination, contract renewals, onboarding arrangements, leave records, and personnel-related matters;
- Establish and maintain systems to monitor project milestones, deliverables, key performance indicators, and reporting schedules; and
- Undertaking other duties and special assignments as required.
Requirements:
- A recognised bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Cultural Management or a related discipline;
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in project administration or budget management, preferably in the education, arts and cultural sectors;
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail;
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and functions; and
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written / skills assessment.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and funding availability.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Skills Required
