Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Finance Manager to join our team. This role provides strategic and operational financial leadership for Trinity Health of New England’s community hospitals, working closely with the Regional Director and senior leadership. It oversees financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and consolidated reporting, while developing short- and long-term strategies to optimize financial performance amid changing healthcare economics. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, plays a critical role in operational planning, financial stewardship, and strategic decision-making to support organizational objectives in a dynamic healthcare environment.
What you will do:
- Provide financial leadership aligned with Trinity Health’s Mission, Vision, and Values
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation for acute care entities
- Oversee development and monitoring of operating and capital budgets; review and recommend FTEs, capital, and expense requests
- Prepare monthly forecasts and participate in revenue and volume optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with accounting, revenue cycle, labor stabilization, and capital teams to produce consolidated financial results
- Support development of regional financial policies, systems, and reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Advise hospital presidents and senior leaders on financial performance, risks, and strategic opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, including healthcare finance leadership
- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, operations, and financial systems
- Proven analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
