We are looking for a high potential Corporate Finance Lead capable of influencing the business to make sound strategic and operational decisions. Your work, whether it's overseeing the modeling of business scenarios for one of our business or partnerships, or tracking company-wide performance metrics, is used by the leadership team to grow the business at a rapid rate in a fast paced environment.  

A finance professional at heart with a drive to get things done, you are passionate about bringing technological change to the Healthcare industry and building a multi-billion dollar business. A master juggler working on multiple initiatives at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly financial planning and forecasting process for various business lines at Verily. Drive visibility into business performance and enable decisions for the executive leadership team and business leads.
  • Work with finance and non-finance stakeholders to analyze the impact of proposed business decisions, including supporting deal pricing and profitability analysis for various product lines. Analyze key performance indicators and develop financial models and decision-making tools.
  • Works well across various teams with strong project management skills to coordinate between multiple groups in order to deliver projects on time.Demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship skills to develop and manage high-performing teams. 
  • Influence key decision makers in the Company to deliver on long-term growth and profitability of the Company. Possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills; comfortable producing flexible financial models based on loose and fluid assumptions, comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to summarize detailed information in order to make actionable recommendations. 
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Finance.
  • 10+ years relevant work experience in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or similar role.
  • Understanding of accounting processes and terminology.
  • Proven Microsoft Excel skills, and other database, automation or business intelligence skills (e.g. BigQuery, SQL, TSL, Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan).
  • Relevant experience in Digital Health, Healthcare services, Biotech or Pharma preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment, leadership skills and ability to communicate with executives and senior management teams.
  • Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment; comfortable dealing with ambiguity and defining the agenda.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the capability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Experience designing, implementing and improving a budgeting and forecasting process for a complex business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000 - $265,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
