The Finance Lead Strategy & Supply Chain (S&SC) supports, from a Finance perspective, STO and its performance, inventory management, Warehousing & Distribution, freight driving productivity and synergies and write offs as well as supply chain excellence and associated KPIs. The incumbent is part of Global S&SC leadership teams, contributing to key finance processes such as closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning for the S&SC organization and supporting Sandoz when needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial analysis for STO S&SC, including headcount and personnel cost
• Financial KPIs for inventory, planning and S&SC performance
• Prepares challenges and ensures achievement of budget and forecasts
• Long term planning support for budget and strategy plans
• Financial leadership for W&D and freight costs as well as MSL write offs
• Financial leadership for S&SC excellence KPIs and S&SC performance
• Ad hoc analysis for Head BPA STO and Finance department
• Drives simplification and effectiveness of reporting processes within S&SC Finance
• Works on specific projects as required
• Effective stakeholder management to facilitate internal and external communication
• Collaborates across S&SC and Finance teams (site and global) to achieve defined targets
• Supports/drives projects and benchmarking to increase productivity on a short/long term basis for Sandoz S&SC
• Supports TPC/standard costs process management and coordination
• Provide excellent level of transparency regarding financial and operational performance to support and enable bottom line improvements

What you need to bring to the role:

• 10 – 15 years of financial experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Understanding of Generics business environment as well as commercial strategies. Experience with site finance topic locally or above site considered as an advantage.
• University degree in Economics/BA/Engineering/MBA
• Fluent English
