About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Intern to support the finance function in compiling, organizing, and analyzing historical financial data. This role will play a key part in strengthening financial processes, improving record-keeping, and supporting month-end closes, audits, and internal controls. The internship offers hands-on exposure to core finance operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

● Compile and consolidate historical financial and operational data into a centralized repository for easy reference and future diligences

● Review and understand existing financial data and identify high-level differences, trends, and gaps

● Assist in maintaining accurate records to support business insights and scalability of the finance function

● Support month-on-month (MoM) book closures, including basic reconciliations and documentation

● Assist in preparing audit schedules, supporting documents, and data requests for statutory and internal

● Help draft and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance

● Support implementation and documentation of internal controls, including IFC and internal audit

● Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, legal, HR, and other teams to gather information and help implement

● Travel as required to support process implementation and audit requirements across functions or locations

Learning & Exposure

● Practical exposure to financial reporting, audits

● Understanding of internal financial controls and audit

● Hands-on experience in scaling finance processes for a growing

● Cross-functional exposure and stakeholder management experience

Qualifications & Skills

● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related

● Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial

● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

● Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus

● Good documentation and communication

● Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment
