The Finance Intern will work under the supervision of the Executive Director, IT Finance, gaining hands-on experience with financial analysis, Workday and Adaptive systems and interaction with IT Leaders.
Key Accountabilities

Assist with the various month end duties to include journal entry preparation, license and telecom actual tracking and forecast updates. Help ensure invoices get processed timely and accurately. Research variances and help determine forecast updates needed for licenses and phone. Help improve documentation of processes around license and phone forecasting.

Determine feasibility of license tracking in excel being done in the Software Asset Tracking system. If determined feasible, create a project plan including timelines and resources needed. Begin implementation as time permits.

Assist in Annual Planning activities such as loading projections into Adaptive, schedule creation and variance analysis.

Other excel based projects/analysis as needed.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance by December 2025 or Spring/Summer, 2026.

GPA or 3.0 or higher required.

Ability to work 37.5 hours per week.

Strong initiative, detail oriented and demonstrated excellent communication skills.

The compensation range for this role is the following based on the location of Lake Forest, Illinois:
$18.89 - $27.29 per hour
