Como Finance intern, serás una parte integral de nuestro equipo de finanzas y darás apoyo en las funciones de finanzas transaccionales y gestión contable.
Tendrás la oportunidad de adquirir experiencia práctica y desarrollar tus habilidades aprendiendo procedimientos financieros internos en todo el negocio wholesale y retail, además de tener la oportunidad de estar en contacto tanto con la marca New Balance como con la industria del ocio deportivo.
Como parte de una estructura financiera multidisciplinaria, esta beca te proporcionará contacto con un conjunto diverso de actividades, lo que te ayudará a construir una base sólida para una carrera exitosa en finanzas.
PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIDADES:
Asistencia en contabilidad de gestión
• Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con el mánager Financiero, brindando asistencia ad hoc con informes financieros, análisis, pronósticos y presupuestos;
• Apoyar el negocio retail con informes de cumplimiento local y propietarios a través de la conciliación semanal de ventas de las tiendas e informes mensuales de rentas variables;
• Responsable de la revisión de los gastos de viaje de los asociados de retail en Iberia;
• Contribuir a la revisión del P&L y al análisis de variaciones, apoyando al manager Financiero de New Balance Iberia y al equipo de retail de Ámsterdam en la identificación de tendencias, oportunidades y riesgos que impactan el desempeño financiero;
• Ayudar a agilizar los procesos de presentación de informes financieros y ayudar a identificar áreas de mejora para mejorar la eficiencia y la precisión;
Soporte de finanzas transaccionales
• Ayudar al equipo de cuentas a cobrar; esto incluirá contabilizar pagos de transferencias, asignar notas de crédito, revisar facturas proforma y enviar estados de cuenta de deuda actuales;
• Ayudar a mantener registros y documentación financieros de conformidad con las políticas y procedimientos de la empresa;
• Ayudar con los requisitos de auditoría anual y otros requisitos de auditoría externa;
Otro
• Agregar valor a la oficina de NB Iberia a través del apoyo con las tareas administrativas de la oficina;
REQUISITOS PARA EL EXITO:
• Fluidez con el idioma inglés (tanto escrito como oral)
• Dominio de Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook Powerpoint, Word, etc.
• Buen trabajo en equipo, fuertes habilidades de comunicación y ser capaz de desarrollar y mantener relaciones sólidas con compañeros de finanzas y con otros departamentos;
• Discreto y diligente con la información recibida y compartida;

IBERIA FINANCE INTERN (12 MONTHS)
JOB MISSION:
As a Finance Intern, you will be an integral part of our finance team, supporting across both transactional finance and management accounting functions.
You will have the chance to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills through learning internal finance procedures across the Wholesale and Retail business, alongside having the opportunity to have exposure to both the New Balance Brand and the Sports Leisure industry.
As part of a multi-disciplinary finance structure, the internship will provide you with exposure to a diverse set of activities, helping you build a strong foundation for a successful career in finance.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Management Accounting Assistance
- Work closely with the Associate Finance Director, providing ad-hoc assistance with financial reports, analysis, forecast and budget;
- Support the Retail business with Local Compliance and Landlord reporting through weekly store sales reconciliation and monthly variable rent reporting;
- Maintenance of excel databases (orderbook, customer master data, sell-thru reports);
- Assist in streamlining financial reporting processes and help identify areas for improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Transactional Finance Support
- Assist the accounts receivable team; this will include posting transfer payments, allocating credit notes, reviewing pro forma invoices and sending current debt statements;
- Help maintain financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Assist with annual and other external audit requirements;
Other
- Add value to the Iberia office through supporting with office administration tasks;
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Fluent in English Language (both written and oral)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook Powerpoint, Word etc.
- Team player, strong communication skills and able to develop and maintain strong relationship with finance colleagues and across other departments;
- Discreet and diligent with information received and shared;
- Motivated individual, keen to work in Finance and with a passion for the New Balance Brand;
- Interest and enthusiasm for learning and self development;
MANDATORY for Feuga Internship:
- Under 31 years of age.
- Completion of studies within the last 3 years in a Galician school.
- No prior professional work experience.
- Educational background acquired in Galicia : Holders of a medium or higher-level vocational training qualification.
