What We OfferMajor Tasks & responsibilities:
1. Cash & Liquidity Management — Prepare and maintain short-term cash flow forecasts and support long-term cash flow planning;
• Review company funding required for daily operations as well as investments.
• Work with Finance HQ to implement funding activities in line with agreed principles, managing local bank relationships and in-house banking activities.
• Manage THB liquidity independently to ensure sufficient funding for invoice payments and operational expenses. Coordinate with Finance HQ on USD cash pooling structure where the majority of USD funds are managed via intercompany loan arrangements.
2. Foreign Exchange Management — Monitor FX exposure, maintain BOT-required hedging documentation and audit-ready records, and execute FX settlements via the Quantum treasury system in coordination with the Global Treasury team who executes trades centrally.
3. Banking Relationship Management — Represent the company with the Bank of Thailand and commercial banks; negotiate local banking conditions, manage counterparty risk, and maintain relationships in line with the Core Bank concept.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Expertise — Act as the in-country authority on BOT Foreign Exchange regulations and Foreign Business License (FBL) requirements; ensure compliant reporting of account balances, investments, and FX transactions in the Covestro treasury system.
5. Insurance Coordination — Coordinate with Global Insurance and local brokers on all insurance lines (Industrial All Risks, Liability, Transport/Warehouse, Construction, Vehicles); manage local policy data and handle claims end-to-end.
6. Financial Legal Entity Management (FLEM) Support — Support Finance HQ on capitalization matters including thin capitalization compliance, dividend planning, capital reductions/increases, and share buy-backs, providing local regulatory context and documentation.
7. Global Initiatives & Project Support — Contribute local treasury and finance expertise to M&A activities (Day 1 banking readiness, intercompany funding, post-closing integration) and participate in global Finance HQ initiatives as assigned.
What You OfferQualifications
Essential:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative business field (Master's degree preferred)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in treasury, FX management, or corporate finance
Solid knowledge of Thai regulatory requirements: BOT Foreign Exchange regulations, Foreign Business License (FBL), banking products and operations
Proficiency in treasury management systems (Quantum or equivalent)
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
High integrity, sound judgment, and results-orientation
Preferred:
Experience in a multinational corporate treasury environment
Exposure to M&A treasury integration or global insurance program management
