Job Summary:

Working as a key member of our team, the Finance Assistant routinely collaborates with the sales team and general manager in order to maintain a high manufacturer-required CSI by maintaining an outstanding customer service delivery level within strict legal compliance and with unwavering ethics.

He/she achieves this by providing a true value-add to the closing support function of the sales life cycle. First and foremost, the ideal F&I Assistant is a superior communicator who is an expert at building customer rapport and efficiently preparing and completing sales documents.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Assist the Finance and sales department in day to day operations.
  • Check all Booked deals for the proper and necessary paperwork before they are sent to accounting
  • Complete product cancellations with customer and make sure we have all supporting documents, assist customers with follow up status on product cancellations
  • Resolve and communicate with finance managers on all funding delays.
  • Keep Axcessa up to date with notes on the status of each deal and funding’s
  • Be tentative to finance phone calls when all finance managers are with customers
  • Provide customer service in making sure customers are assisted and all questions are answered with their financing and product concerns, communicating with the finance managers as needed
  • Check and follow up on outstanding and out of state tag work with our finance manager and/or Tag and Title department
  • Once Tag work is completed contact customer to see if they would like to pick up the completed tag work, otherwise confirm the mailing address and mail it to customer
  • Provide requested documents for Gap Claims or to customers as needed.
  • Ground and purchase Lease trade in’s, ground lease turn in’s

  • Superior verbal communication skills
  • Customer service and rapport-building ability
  • Ability to prepare and complete sales and finance paperwork accurately
  • Familiarity with Axcessa or ability to update CRM/desk systems
  • Ability to manage phone inquiries and assist finance managers
  • Knowledge or ability to handle tag and title processes and lease trade-ins
  • Ability to perform prolonged sitting and fine finger dexterity tasks
