The Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Finance associate to join our team. As a Finance re, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, assisting in payroll processing, data maintenance & procurement activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of Microsoft Office plus Google sheets, excel in stakeholder management, and demonstrate excellent communication and analytical skills 

What You'll Do:
  • Financial Management & Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor financial transactions and reconcile accounts
  • Accounts & Tax Compliance
    • Work on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
    • Ensure tax compliance, preparations and filings.
  • Cost & Budget Management
    • Assist in budget preparation and cost control strategies.
    • Track expenses and optimize cost efficiencies.
    • Analyze financial data to provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assist in Setting up Finance Department Processes:
    • Collaborate with senior finance personnel to develop and implement effective finance department processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance. 
  • Documentation and Policies:
    • Support the creation and maintenance of finance-related documentation, including financial reports, budgets, policies, and procedures.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency:
    • Utilize Office applications, particularly Excel/Sheets, to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and generate insights to support decision-making processes
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Interact and engage with internal and external stakeholders, such as vendors, clients, and finance team members, to ensure effective communication and resolve any finance-related queries or issues. 
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as accounting, procurement, and operations, to streamline processes and ensure accurate financial information exchange. 
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Must have 1+yrs of experience in a similar finance role, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial operations and processes. 
  • Sound knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting practices. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. 
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
