Finance Executive

As a finance executive, you will support general accounting functions including but not limited to all levels of the order-to-cash cycle, preparation of journal entries, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Prepares and provides analysis of monthly software revenue recognition 
• Work with various groups within the company while utilizing  Salesforce reporting to track the statuses of ongoing customer implementations to determine the appropriate timing of revenue recognition
• Initiate customer invoicing schedules upon contract execution and work with the Accounts Receivable team to address customer questions
• Prepare month-end account reconciliations (including deferred revenue), research and resolve identified discrepancies.
• Work closely with Sales Operations and FP&A to reconcile Salesforce data to the underlying contracts and streamline the order-to-cash cycle
• Support on Audit support preparation and strengthening of internal controls. 
• Collaborate with team members in US & India

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or CA intermediate 
• Self-starter attitude with advanced time management skills
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle several topics in a well-structured way in parallel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• Understanding of financial accounting
• Proficiency in G Suite Productivity tools and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience with CRM and accounting software (Intacct/NetSuite and Salesforce experience is a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide accurate and helpful advice to internal business partners and other stakeholders
